Some v. sl. leather wear and joint splits on both vols.; a little intermittent sl. foxing - but gen. a good set; the missing plts (vol.2) are 17,18,19,20,24 and 25; however in vol.2 (p.583) is an unlisted (sheep) plate; 'Friday 24 May 1946' is stamped on e/p. and fly leaf of both vols (apparently when purchased at auction); old ownership - John Armstrong / Kildare on both titles
