Oil on canvas relined perhaps 30 - 40 years ago by Frost and Reed, canvas remains tight although paint looks rather dirty with a slightly discoloured varnish, signed and dated just left of 6 o'clock, in a later ornate gilt scroll frame which is in good condition, label verso for Frost and Reed.
No overpainting spotted under UV light. To the eye the top margin of the sky looks like it might have seen some retouching.
