D.Adam, Fleet Street, London - Optician to His Majesty. A Victorian lacquered brass telescope, with 44 inch barrel, 11 inch eye piece and ranging lens, on a brass mounted tripod, H.18in.

Some oxidised scratch marks running along the length of the barrel, further oxidisation to the cap and elsewhere but otherwise looks to be in good condition, some rubbing dents and knocks to the wooden legs of the tripod commensurate with age, similarly the original case has old scuffs, dents and splitting from use over the years, a few additional adjusting bars and a smaller tripod and two additional eye pieces within the case, please see additional photographs.
