Condition - upper board present, but detached, lower board almost detached, spine worn and vol. has come apart at p.540, portrait frontis loose and with clean tear across (facially), some stains and spotting (esp. pp.592-600), but much is clean. iv, (5)-650pp. text appears to end correctly, but Mitchell Library (17) gives another 5pp., these quite probably the missing subscriber's list; the 2nd portrait plt. shows Hawksworth & King, the 'Death' plate is present, no free e/ps. or blanks; old book label - Maria Woodrouffe Smith, old crested bookplate - George Head Head Rickarby
