Oil on canvas cleaned and relined 20 years ago or more, canvas remains tight with slight stretcher marks showing, scattered small dents and retouches, little sign of any craquelure but some slight crazing in the hair, indistinctly inscribed at 9 o'clock Humr For… Aetatis Su…, housed in a period gilt gesso frame which has been retouched but still has a few cracks and knocks, no labels or inscriptions verso
