Oil on canvas cleaned and relined probably 20 - 30 years ago or more, paint now a little dirty, some fine but stable craquelure running through the lighter paint notably skin, sleeves and white of the dog, the blue and red fabrics look re-touched, some light flaking and scratching across the lower right corner, housed in a later slim gilt frame, no labels or inscriptions verso.
