Condition:
Slight undulation to the wooden panel, paint with a rather glossy varnish, a little dark in places with one or two light surface scuffs marks, some fine but stable craquelure particularly showing in the darker areas, seemingly unsigned, housed in an ornate period gilt scroll frame which is in fair order, Christie's stencil number S7KH on the back of the panel, label on the frame with reference to lot 149 Olympia (Sotheby's) 29th April 2010.
