Oil on what looks to be the original canvas, which is very slightly saggy, paint is dirty with both a broad craquelure showing on the left particularly around the urn and below it and a fine craquelure running through the remainder of the paint but principally the sky and the flesh. Not signed, one small inverted Y shaped tear in the canvas, approx, 10 in below her hands but overall should restore to good effect, title plaque upon the massive heavy ornate gilt gesso frame which is rather tatty with numerous losses to the edges, Thomas Agnew & Sons label verso.
