Condition:
Oil on an old oak panel in good condition, looks to have been cleaned within the past 20 years or so possibly with some retouching particularly to the clouds top right, a fine craquelure running through much of the paint mostly in line with the grain of the panel, one or two tiny flakes of paint missing, housed in a later but old gilt frame with a few small losses, hand inscribed label verso with details of the artist along with a label from W. Freeman & Son Ltd, Restorers of Albemarle Street dated 1969 and typed label giving details of the artist.
