Chancellor & Son of Dublin. An early 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch circular dial with subsidiary seconds, signed Chancellor & Son, 6ft 5in.

Case of good rich colour, one vertical split through the hood door at 6 o'clock, slight oxidisation to the hands otherwise dial looks good but may well have been refinished, movement in good clean condition but not tested for timekeeping, trunk has a fair amount of cracking running through the veneer which is just starting to lift particularly notable over the door, box base equally has a vertical split running through the centre, bottom of foot has water damage and dents and scuffing, comes with a pendulum and two iron weights.
