Some leather wear (esp. corners and spines head/tail), map with clean tear (now in 2 pieces - no loss) and some marginal sm. tears and creasing (v.sl. damage along the folds), the table with few tears and fraying on outside edge (but just missing printed surface), some light text soiling (mostly prelims. vol.2 and plt. margins), some untidy pencil scoring (marginal) in both vols. xix, 346 and ix, 283pp. (incl. half titles), pictorial bookplates and (1913) ownership of H.V. Musgrave Clark
