Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint a little dirty with lines of craquelure running throughout and further lines of damage showing through his fore head and to the upper left of his head, painted to the oval, housed in an ornate gilt gesso frame which has a number of small losses, old typed label verso along with a Sotheby's receipt from 1995.
