Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint rather dirty with patches of fine craquelure showing particularly in the white of the clouds, apparently unsigned though very dark in the corners, housed in a later gilt scroll frame, no labels or inscriptions verso. Attribution came from an old insurance valuation where it was fully attributed.
