Both in good untouched condition, glass rather dirty but the works themselves look to be in very good order with good strength of colour, not signed, under glass in what look to be original giltwood and gesso frames, collection label verso for Colonel W. D. Tompson numbered 39 and 40, with details of the sitters inscribed in ink.
