Pastel on paper laid onto canvas backing. Some undulation, a 2ins tear through lower jaw of left sitter and holes near lower corners and some loss of surface of paper that looks like insect damage. Paper a little dark in places with a few scattered fox marks. No glazing but was once present. Original frame now looks dull in finish but intact. Back of work has De Havaland on stretchers and a note of the title being - The Sisters.
