Condition:
Oil on wooden panel now with rather dark dirty varnish. One or two light surface scratches which go into the varnish but do not appear to go through the paint. Apparently unsigned. Housed in old ebonised frame with attribution plaque. Together with a letter from Sotheby Parke Bernet & Co giving full attribution and stating purchased Wednesday 30th April 1980
