Provida is the larger work with ink on light buff coloured paper which is undulating, a number of scattered fox and dirt marks and a darker sepia line running horizontally in line with the rowing boat which may be from being stuck or tabbed in the past, titled in pencil, washline mount and slim gilt frame, attribution to the artist verso, the other work looks a little flat and may be laid down, ink slightly faded to a brownish tone, a vertical sepia line running down the right hand side, title is ink with the date 1820, old washline mount and plain wood frame.
