Condition:
Drawn onto a pale blue coloured paper, colours remain strong, some scattered light fox marks and light acid staining at the margins particularly left and right, a small scuff or tear near 3 o'clock, housed in the original ornate carved and gile oak aesthetic frame, old frame maker's label verso, Japanese Transporters label, The Exhibition of the Pre-Raphaelites typed upon it but no date along with Sotheby's chalk marks perhaps referring to a sale 6.11.95 Lot 228
