An unusual charming circular gilt framed sampler, by Elizabeth Hughes, aged 11 years, dated 1795, worked in fine wools with a prayer verse at the top and an embroidered floral border with motifs of lions, stags, flowers, her name, date, age below, sampler 30cm diameter. Condition - the colour has faded due to sun light and there are stains around the sides. The frame and glass are loose and frame needs repair.
