An unusual Japanese Satsuma pottery vase, by Kinkozan, Meiji period, decorated in raised gilt and silvering with objects on a brown ground in imitation of a bronze and mixed metal vessel, impressed mark to base 'Kinkozan zo', height 11.2cm

There is some wear to the gilding on the very top rim of the vase and a little grubbiness around the shoulder, otherwise generally in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
