An unusual Chinese white jade plaque, 18th/19th century, carved in high relief with three seated immortals and two acrobats supported by leaves and scrolling tendrils surmounted by a lotus flower, the reverse carved in low relief with a fish leaping from waves, a rock and two cranes in-flight amid clouds, the stone of good even tone, 6.7cm x 8.1cm, wood stand

Condition:
Minute nick on the top edge and the back looks as though some additional fixing holes have been drilled at a later date although these do line up with the original relief decoration to the back. Jade 85 grams.
