decorated with an interlaced serpent design amid flowers and foliage to the interior and exterior, the base inscribed ‘TG, under=glaze, March 1914’ and numbered ‘4 to 1, 1 to 1 , 1/2 to 1’ (presumably ratios of pigments in the underglaze colours),

Condition:
Stabilised Firing crack around applied foot with some tiny glaze losses around the immediate area. Curved firing crack visible on the underside and on the interior of the bowl, otherwise in reasonable condition.
