An opal and diamond brooch, circa 1900, of cluster design, set with a cabochon opal measuring approximately 15.5 x 12.5 x 6.2mm, within a border of circular-cut diamonds totalling approximately 1.20 carats, to a plain gold bar brooch, length 6.2cm, stamped 18CT

Condition:
Opal attractive, translucent orange body colour, predominantly green and blue play of colour, crazing through stone but not obvious to naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively, attractive older cuts. Overall in good condition, minor wear, gross weight approximately 8 grams
