An impressive ornate early Victorian silver six branch, seven light candelabrum by William Bateman & Daniel Ball, London, 1840, engraved with the Heneage family crest, the six leaf capped scroll arms with foliate sconces and drip pans, on a tapering fluted stem, on robust triangular base, engraved with arms and later inscriptions "Ascot 1876" and "Mr. Heneage's Freeman won the Alexandra Plate", together with a large glass bowl and six smaller bowls with their plated receivers with helix, to convert to an epergne, (the largest does not fix securely) circa 1875, height, 80cm, 382 oz.

Minor surface scartches in general. Small dent by "Ascot 1876" engraving. Overall condition is otherwise good, commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks clwar. No glass dishes for epergne conversion and the central glass bowl does not fit snugly.
