Condition:
Overall in need of a fair amount of restoration, principally to the side locking bar and plinth. Of good rich dark satinwood tone, now a little dulled and dirty, particularly to the sides and around the base, the left side locking bar is loose but the original pin hinges and fittings are still present, the capital for the top is loose and has chipping to the tips of the crown carving, the lower turned finial is missing, mahogany lined drawers with original handles in good condition, no key present for the side locking bar, extensive loss of veneers and other damage to the plinth although it does come with a number of loose pieces of veneer.
