An early Victorian rosewood pier cabinet, W.2ft 2in. D.1ft H.3ft

An early Victorian rosewood pier cabinet, with grey marble top and silk pleated door, W.2ft 2in. D.1ft H.3ft
Estimate £300-500

Grey marble top is a little narrow and may well be a later replacement although does look to be an old piece of marble, some nibbling to the back edge of the marble top, colour of the rosewood a good dark rich colour with a fair state of polish, signs of light wear and tear scattered throughout but nothing of any note, comes with a key but this does not work the lock, silk pleating in fair condition, one or two small dinks and spots to the pleating, overall an unusually small and delicate piece of furniture in essentially good order, one fixed shelf fitted inside.
