An early Victorian mother of pearl inset tortoiseshell ink stand, with two cut glass wells and frieze drawer, on ivory ball feet, 9.5in.

The tortoiseshell is a little dry in places, a mother of pearl inlaid leaf is lacking on the scrolled cresting, there is some ivory beading and ball feet so please note this cannot be exported to mainland China or the USA.
One of the glass inkwells has been broken in half and messily reglued, the other example has some large chips to the collar and the lower corner, a small piece of tortoiseshell veneer lacking on the rear left corner support, otherwise in reasonable condition
