An early Victorian gothic design double action Sebastien Erard giltwood and gesso harp, decorated with angels and foliate motifs, signed, patent N4721, height 67.5in.

In generally original condition, the gilding is discoloured and worn in places, the pedals all are present, obviously it needs new strings, the lower board where the strings attached has many many small dents, scratches and imperfections, the metalwork is present, the engraving is crisp but it is discoloured, to the rear of this the inset rectangular panels are worn, there seems to be a loss of beading around the back above the central pedals, looking at the front of the harp the fluted column has many dents and imperfections, running to the base there is a loss of beading to that column and there are two winged beasts to the front, one of them has lost its entire paw and leg.
Sound board not bowed but has an overpainted repair to the top. Much of the stringing is loose. Two of the pedals clearly work.
