Lot 1208 , An early 20th century silver gilt and amethyst riviere necklace, 18.5in.
An early 20th century silver gilt and amethyst riviere necklace, with foliate clasp and set with forty three graduated oval cut amethysts, (one stone and link missing?), 18.5in.
Estimate £400-600
The amethyst to the centre of the clasp is badly chipped. Two of the other stones have small chips to the edge of the table facet, otherwise the piece is in genearlly good order, aside from the mentioned missing pieces. The length of the necklace given is as iti is now. In our opinion a good reputable jeweller would be able to rectify any current condition issues.
