An early 20th century ormolu light fitting, lacking glass shade, height 41cm Condition: Now with a slightly matted and dirty finish, central stem slightly bent out of shape, designed so that twin electric cables run up from the base and over the two wheeled paterae near the top, unclear as to where the cables then go to meet the light fitting, it may well be that this has been adapted, there is a glued joint near the top, the whole piece feels like it would make more sense if it were suspended from the ceiling but in which case then the urn swags would be going in the wrong direction
