An early 20th century mahogany quarter chiming bracket clock, with Lawn Tennis Association connection, the Georgian revival case set with a silver presentation plaque inscribed 'Presented by the Lawn Tennis Association to Sir Herbert Wilberforce on his retirement from the Chairmanship of the Committee of Management of the Championships in appreciation of his eminent services to Lawn Tennis over a long period of years 1937', the 6.5 inch Arabic dial with subsidiary chime / silent and Whittington / Westminster chime selection dials, the three train chain fusee movement with deadbeat escapement chiming on a rack of eight bells and striking the hour on a gong, 20in.

The sides of the case have faded slightly, the front is good, there is a loose piece of moulding to the left side of the cornice, but otherwise in good condition, the side frets are polished and in good order, the dial is in good order, the mid hand is a little bit worn but otherwise good, the movement functions but is very slow to strike and will require some attention, at least a clean possibly an overhaul.
