An early 20th century Royal Artillery officers dress uniform, comprising a jacket and trousers, both with original maker’s labels for J. Daniels and Co., with owner’s name ‘Major G.H. Tristram R.A.’ added in pen, a Mess jacket, cross belt and pouch, plus additional belt, pill box hat, etc. Major G.H.Tristram served in India early C20th, then in France in 1917. He later taught gunnery at Westerham in Kent and at Stoke-on-Trent.
