An early 20th century Louis Vuitton iron bound travelling trunk, with yellow LV fabric covering and old shipping labels, the interior with original canvas and two lift-out trays, and label for Paris and New York, width 76cm, depth 48cm, height 55cm

Condition:
Overall in travel worn condition, with the original fabric now rubbed, faded and dirty, initialled ADB to the top, all of the metal binding now having lost much of its black paint and oxidised, shipping labels to both sides with concealing some name, more notable scuffing to the front, latches all look original and working, interior with some losses to the inside of the lid, label for 1 Rue Scribe Paris and 149 New Bond Street London, upper tray a little dirty but otherwise good, inner tray equally good condition, what looks to be washing powder scattered throughout the inside.
