An early 20th century French ormolu mounted red tortoiseshell eight day mantel clock, of Louis XVI style, with enamelled dial and Japy movement, 22cm wide, 12cm deep, 40cm high

Condition:
Honest untouched condition, ormolu now slightly matted but complete, dial with minor chipping around the winding holes and some hairline cracks at 12 and 6 o'clock, a few surface flaws in the tortoiseshell but essentially good, movement complete, comes with pendulum and key but not tested for timekeeping, knob for the back door is replaced with a screw.
