An early 20th century Doulton novelty timepiece, modelled as a longcase with moulded strapwork decorated on a textured ground, glazed in blue on white, the timepiece with 2 inch Arabic enamelled dial and single train spring barrel movement with lever platform escapement and hand setting, height 35cm.

There is fine crazing to the glaze all over, there is qood quality restoration around the cornice, the stepped moulding above the box base and around the edge of the plinth itself, the movement appears to be going but has not been tested for any length of time and is not guaranteed.
