An early 20th century Chinese rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid circular box and cover, decorated with dragons, birds, tortoise and character marks, with removable interior compartmental tray, diameter 10in.

The top of the cover is split and there is some slight losses to the inlay around the very edge with some filler repairs around it and some slight filler repair to the central ground, the sides have occasional splits in them and small repair and the side has become detached completely from the base at some stage and has been re-glued with some slight repairs around the bottom.
