An early 20th century Chinese black silk shawl, with all over coloured floral embroidery, embroidered with multi-coloured silks and a long silk fringe, unusually the four corners are embroidered with a figurative pagoda scene in each, 110cm x 120cm not including fringe.
Condition - the embroidery and black silk are not faded, there appears to be three small fine pin holes to the plain outer part of shawl, expected for it’s age and use, the embroidered interior is good.
