An early 19th century sampler dated 07, by Sarah Baker, ‘Henry IV’s Soliloquy of Sleep’, together with a later smaller alphabet and spot motif sampler by Elizabeth Fleet aged 8, dated 1838, both framed, the earlier sampler worked on fine linen with a central verse embroidered in black thread, within a white floral border and large floral motifs amongst butterflies, finely edged with a vineous floral border, signed at the bottom Sarah Baker 07, 39.5cm wide x 46cm high. Condition - backing fabric has stained brown in places, smaller sampler embroidery colour has faded in places
