Lot 549 , An early 19th century mahogany triple pillar extending dining table, L.7ft 7in. H.2ft 4.5in.

An early 19th century mahogany triple pillar extending dining table, L.7ft 7in. H.2ft 4.5in.

An early 19th century mahogany triple pillar extending dining table, with two extra leaves, with vase shaped columns and reeded downswept supports, L.7ft 7in. H.2ft 4.5in.
Estimate £400-600

There are some scratches and marks along the top, most noticeably down at one end and one leaf is noticeably faded, other than just the usual general scuffs and marks consistent with use it appears to be in reasonable condition.
Tops are fixed not hinged.
Length 10ft 6.5in. Including leaves
Just under 4ft wide

Please note we do not think this table is period, most likley to be a late 19th / early 20th century copy, one end has a later section approx. 9.5 inch wide, but it is not immediately obvious, the top are fixed to cross stretchers which in turn are fixed to the vase shape columns. General column is ok.
