£150-250

Condition:
Pine seatboard probably not original with three redundant holes; there is an iron front plate in front of the two brass movement plates whose casting has broken at one top corner; moonphases and hour-hand not connected to movement; no seconds hand; date aperture strangely close to centre of dial; movement, dial and case in neglected condition. With pendulum, weights and winding crank. Dial signed F (or J) Eliot, i.e. single L and single T. Dial and case appear a good fit. Glass 47 x 34cm.
