An early 19th century French white metal snuff box, with hinged cover, of shaped rectangular form and engraved with foliage on a geometric ground, 73mm, indistinct marks, 83 grams.

Condition:
There is a dent to one corner and the decoration is quite tired in places. Tiny splits to the silver at each end of the cover hinge. There appears to be a star fracture to the surface of the silver on the interior of the base.
