An early 18th century walnut gateleg table, with oval top and frieze drawer, on turned underframe with Braganza feet, later elements W.5ft 3in. D.4ft 6in. H.2ft 6in.

Top is unevenly faded with patch ring and spot marks throughout, a number of plugged holes in line with where the hinges are attached beneath, section of the top of one leaf damaged and missing, signs of old splits between the joins of the timbers that form the top, handle to frieze drawer looks original, fading and wear to the base of the drawer, fading and wear to the underframe commensurate with age, section broken away from one of the feet, this piece is now in the drawer, overall an unusual model and handsome table that does require some repolishing but should restore to good effect.
