An early 18th century figured and burr walnut cabinet on chest, with moulded cornice and two bevelled mirrored doors enclosing an arrangement of eight drawers and a slide over four further graduated long drawers, on shaped bracket feet, 110cm wide, 52cm deep, 199cm high

Condition:
Good condition, renovated and restored some years ago, of even rich mid honey brown tone, has probably seen a fair degree of restoration with re-building of the cornice, additions of the feet and quite possibly some re-modelling between the chest and the cabinet itself. Upper lock and handles look original, key for the upper lock does not work, locks to the lower chest look original but one is missing from the second drawer down, no key present. A little more faded down the right hand side with some splitting in the veneers.
