Signs of fair wear and tear to the top, dents, small splits and scratches, a patched piece of timber in the back right corner of the top with the extreme corner missing, top drawer has concealed locking pin which is only accessed when the second drawer down is open, interior drawer lining with a split and old worm holes, patch to the veneer on the right side, other drawers in fair to good condition, there is a key but it doesn't work the locks it is just used to pull the drawer open, base plinth has an escutcheon hole but no lock fitted and no obvious reason why there would be a lock there, side panels with old splitting, overall a character piece in fairly good condition.
