An attractive three-stone diamond ring, early 20th century

An attractive three-stone diamond ring, early 20th century, claw-set with three circular-cut diamonds totalling approximately 2.20 carats, to fluted gold shoulders and band, size N1/2
£1,000-1,500

Condition:
Beautiful example. Central diamond approximately 1.00 carat, side stones approximately 0.60 carats each (all very approximate as older cuts), each estimated as approximately H-I colour, approximately VS clarity, one small chip to girdle on one side stone probably taking it down to SI. Typical nibbling around girdles to each stone but nothing serious apart from the small chip mentioned above. A couple of claws may need replacing but most intact and in good condition, stones secure. Beautiful, nicely made, in good condition. Gross weight approximately 3.5 grams.
