An attractive emerald and diamond three-stone ring, early 20th century, claw-set with an unusual circular-cut emerald with a rose-cut crown, measuring approximately 7 x 6.9 x 3.8mm, between cushion-shaped diamond shoulders totalling approximately 1.40 carats, size Q

Emerald lovely bright colour and good clarity, typical minor inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching fissures, minor wear, overall in good condition, calculated weight approximately 0.80 carats (very approximate due to unusual cut). Diamonds an attractive pair of antique cushion cuts, each M+ colour, VS2-SI clarity (no particularly obvious clarity or condition issues). Mount unmarked - white gold or platinum but not clear which, guaranteed not to be base metal. Gross weight 4 grams.
