An Indian wood and iron Buddhist monk's walking staff (Khakkhara), 17th/18th century, with pagoda shaped finial, pique work staff and spike to the base, 134cm

Ironwork with oxidisation commensurate with age, rings around the top are slightly bent out of shape but overall looks fair, the main shaft is rubbed down showing a reddish colour bleeding through. The studded bands have small nacreous panels, some of which may be replaced, otherwise minor dents and scuffing commensurate with age but overall looks to be in honest condition
