This is a most unusual canteen of plated old english pattern flatware and cutlery for 12, housed in a table cabinet with a 'volume' for each section. There are five leather spined 'book' boxes titled 'Spoons', 'Forks' etc each with fitted grenn baize lined interior housing the said items. Looks to be complete although there remains slots for additional items. Condition good. Some slight wear to the binding where the 'books' open and light fading to the front timbers.
