An Edwardian novelty silver pin cushion modelled as a bear with articulated limbs approx. 2in.

An Edwardian novelty silver pin cushion modelled as a bear with articulated limbs and textured fur, H.V Pithey & Co, Birmingham, 1908, approx. 2in.
Estimate £350-450

The cushion may well be a replacement as the condition is very good for the age but if so it was replaced some time ago. There are a couple of very minor dings to the arms and body and some minor scratches, conducive with age and wear, otherwise the overall condition is good. Marks clear.

Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to request a condition report on any lots upon which they intend to bid, prior to placing a bid.
