An Edwardian novelty silver mounted pin cushion modelled as a hatching chick, Sampson Mordan & Co, Chester, 1906, height 42mm.

Three fairly prominent dents around the egg base, along with a few minor dings also. A few small dents to the base and a smell dent to the top of the head. Cushion loose and quite worn. Hallmarks clear but some rubbing to the maker's mark.
